Delesyia

Delesyia is the region of machines in Crimson Desert, the land of Marni's workshops and clockwork monsters, of the A.T.A.G. mechs and of the Golden Star, a golden mechanical dragon; Chapters 10 and 11 of the main story take place there, according to Game Rant.

Delesyia is the region of machines in Crimson Desert, one of the five regions of Pywel: the land of Marni's workshops and clockwork monsters, of the A.T.A.G. mechs Kliff can ride, and of the Golden Star, a golden mechanical dragon, with Chapters 10 and 11 of the story set there according to Game Rant. IGN's "Golden Star Quest Gameplay" (Oct 13, 2025, a pre-release build) shows its look from the inside: Kliff talks with a white-haired old man in a workshop of brass boilers, pipes, gauges and great round vault doors before the quest leads him out to the dragon. Pearl Abyss promised enemies ranging "from enemy soldiers and sorcerers to ferocious beasts and machines" (Jan 29, 2026), and Delesyia is where the machines come from.

Marni's machines

Spoilers follow. In Game Rant's account, Delesyia's story is a war against Marni's machines. In its chapter list, Chapter 10, "Counterattack", includes "Master of the Ironworks", "Hidden Ace", "Clockwork Insect Clash" and "Frozen Hearted Predator", and Chapter 11, "Truth and Reality", includes "The City of Steel", "Foreboding Shadow", "Master of a Forgotten Land" and "Cloud Castle Orbian". Its bosses there are Marni's Clockwork Mantis at Regent's Rise (Chapter 10), then the Thunder Tank at Valvegard Garrison, the Storm Crusher at the Aeronautical Research Base and the Golden Star at Marni's Masterium (Chapter 11). The full order is on Main Quests and Chapters.

Pearl Abyss's patch notes name more of Marni's works: Marni's Laboratorium, whose doors stay open after it is liberated (1.16.00), Marni's Drilling Rig and its turbine breaker (1.05.00), Marni's Transporter, Marni's Mechahorse, a Medium Mecha Mk. XXI with a sawblade charge, and "hostile Marni's mech monsters", whose look was improved in 1.05.00 on May 2, 2026 (Pearl Abyss). The notes do not say who Marni is.

Digital Foundry's PS5 Pro review shows how sharply this side of Pywel breaks from the rest. After hours of "grounded medieval flavor", its reviewer reached Bug Hill, with "mechanical insects, airships, balloons" and their soldiers fighting on a mountainside, then a mountain city of pipes and ornate structures, and at nightfall a distant city lit by electric lights above fields of electric farmland. Digital Foundry does not name the region.

The Golden Star

The Golden Star is Delesyia's great boss, and the image Pearl Abyss chose for its Collector's Edition diorama: in IGN's footage a golden mechanical dragon with red wings bursts up in a ruined desert fort and fights Kliff among its towers, breathing fire. Game Rant's guide says to throw the Marni Spears placed around the arena to fill its stun meter. Update 2.00.00 (Aug 25, 2026) split the fight into distinct phases with their own attacks (Pearl Abyss), and, according to guides, Kliff gains the dragon Blackstar after it, late in the story (Chapter 11).

The A.T.A.G. mechs

The A.T.A.G. is the mech of Delesyia, "a missile-firing mech" in Pearl Abyss's list of late traversal options (Jan 29, 2026). Game Rant's vehicle guide says mechs stand in hangars and that Kliff gets a personal unit through a questline that starts with Chapter 10's "Hidden Ace". Pearl Abyss's notes name a High-Mobility A.T.A.G. that fires cannonballs (1.16.00, Aug 1, 2026; Pearl Abyss), fixed summoning it and its hangar in 1.07.00, and in 2.03.00 (Sep 18, 2026) stopped excessive fall damage when leaving it in midair (Pearl Abyss). It sits with horses, wyverns and Blackstar on Mounts.

Queen Stoneback Crab and other bosses

Delesyia is not all metal. Pearl Abyss's Queen Stoneback Crab video (gamescom 2024 demo build) is set in green wetlands under red cliffs: a mossy rock mound covered in flowers heaves up as a giant crab, and Kliff climbs onto its back. Game Rant places the fight in the Stoneback Crab Wetlands in Delesyia, in a Redfox Merchants quest, and the guides agree on the method: climb her back and break the mineral deposits to expose weak points.

Game Rant's Delesyia list has 9 bosses: Marni's Clockwork Mantis, Thunder Tank, Storm Crusher, Queen Stoneback Crab, Clockwork White Horn, Balthazar the Wyvernflame, Mechanicus, Ironwing REN-X and Golden Star. Clockwork White Horn has been rematchable since 1.07.00 (May 15, 2026) at the Gate to Advancement (Pearl Abyss). The full list is on Bosses.

Places

Pearl Abyss's notes place several stops in Delesyia. Patch 1.05.00 moved the Abyss Nexus near Zargan Tankworks, "where the Research Institute is located", to the top of the cliff (Pearl Abyss). Patch 1.06.00 (May 11, 2026) gave the Delesyia Saddlery saddles for warthogs; 1.10.00 (Jun 5, 2026) added Pinball to the inn near the Delesyian Institute, with a "Marni Token Exchange" for its tokens (Pearl Abyss); 1.16.00 put one of seven wagon workshops in Delesyia; and 1.18.00 (Aug 15, 2026) tied a piece of knowledge to the task "Read the memory beneath Delesyia Castle" (Pearl Abyss). Game Rant's list adds the Clockwork Heart, Fort Windridge and Marni's Steel Armory.
