Demeniss is one of the five regions of Crimson Desert's continent Pywel, home of Demeniss Castle and the setting of Chapter 8, "Blood Coronation", and of bosses such as Hexe Marie and Draven the Crowcaller, according to Game Rant. Game Rant lists 16 bosses there, as many as in Hernand.
Demeniss is a region of Pywel in Crimson Desert, a land of castles, forts and witches where Chapter 8, "Blood Coronation", takes place and where Game Rant places bosses such as Hexe Marie and Draven the Crowcaller. Pearl Abyss's Hexe Marie video (Dec 5, 2024) opens at her sanctuary: Kliff walks through a stone archway into a courtyard around a huge bare tree with a ring of candles at its foot, a storm of crows bursts from the branches, and the witch in a crown of black feathers steps out, wishing the dead Draven eternal rest. Demeniss is one of the five regions Pearl Abyss names, with Hernand, Pailune, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert.

In the story
Spoilers follow. Demeniss first enters the story in Chapter 5, "Guest Unbidden", whose quests include "Demenissian Delegation", "Crowcaller", "The Crow's Warning" and "Toward the Nest", ending against Draven the Crowcaller at the Crow's Nest, according to Game Rant. Chapter 8, "Blood Coronation", takes Kliff "To Demeniss" itself, with the quests "The Cursed Knight", "The Blood Coronation" and "A Fleeting Dream".
Game Rant's boss list places four Chapter 8 fights in Demeniss: Gabriel Caliburn at Demeniss Castle, Gregor the Halberd of Carnage at Fort Ironclad, Fortain the Cursed Knight at Thornbriar Fortress and Lucian Bastier at the Spire of Clockwork. Caliburn returns at the end of the game as Corrupted Caliburn in the Abyss, the first of the final fights before Umbra. The order of every chapter is on Main Quests and Chapters.
Hexe Marie and Draven
Hexe Marie is the Demeniss boss Pearl Abyss showed first, at G-Star 2024 and in its Dec 5, 2024 video. In the fight she speaks of the day "Umbra casts absolute darkness upon this land" while the screen turns red and crows and dark magic sweep the courtyard. Game Rant lists her at the Hexe Sanctuary in Demeniss as a Chapter 9 fight; TheGamer's guide says she teleports and summons crows and Hexe warriors, so the adds should be cleared before she is pinned down with Force Palm.
Draven the Crowcaller, whom she mourns, can be fought again since patch 1.07.00 (May 15, 2026), which added his rematch at the Church of West Demeniss (Pearl Abyss); the rematch rules are on Boss Rematch.
Places and bosses
Game Rant's list gives Demeniss 16 bosses: Gabriel Caliburn, Skull Knight, Stonewalker Antiquum, Trukan the Ascended, Gregor the Halberd of Carnage, Tristan the Flame Knight, Bradie Gu, The Raging Tempest, Mazuul the Dark Justiciar, Fortain the Cursed Knight, The Crimson Warden, Keglord Garnier Mk. XXIII, Lucian Bastier, The Lunar Reapers, Hexe Marie and Draven the Crowcaller. Its places include Demeniss Castle, Demeniss Port, the Spire of the Frost, the Gate of Truth, Serpent Marsh, Fort Ironclad, Flame Knight Castle, Bloodsteel Camp, Burnhand Quarry, Thornbriar Fortress, the Demeniss Wildlife Park, the Spire of Clockwork, the Hexe Sanctuary and the Crow's Nest.
Pearl Abyss's patch notes add the region's everyday side. Patch 1.04.00 (Apr 23, 2026) put constabularies in eastern, western and southern Demeniss (Pearl Abyss); 1.06.00 (May 11) gave the Demeniss Saddlery saddles for Kuku Birds (Pearl Abyss); and 1.16.00 (Aug 1) gave Demeniss one of seven wagon workshops (Pearl Abyss). The Demenissian Chainsaw, a tool that fells trees, can be donated to the camp as a weapon since 2.00.00, and 1.13.00 (Jul 3, 2026) added a "grand general of Demeniss" outfit (Pearl Abyss).
